You could also try changing the Air Temperature Sensor located just above the Map Sensor, they are only about £6-£10.

This sensor could cause cold idling issues if damaged / dirty.

Yes they have come on twice, once on the M4 on the way down to bridgend some so & so cut me up braked very hard & hazards came on with the hazard light switch flashing away in the car & the other time ...
