Having learned to drive vehicles with a crash g/box ( no synchromesh 1-2 -2-3 / 3-2 2-1 ) double clutching was the order of the day .

The pug box is synchromesh , but not very refined, lol

If the batt is good and the alternator is putting the charge into it .

and your still just getting a click at the starter .

It looks like a solenoid problem on the starter .

Or a bad earth co ...
