background - recently i had some bad luck with cars and ended up with a n reg vauxhall corsa with a leaking head gasket and many other problems, so found this gti on the web and offered a striahgt swap and well im here now

the car - since owning the car, i have many problems which has stopped me from starting my project in doing her up

to-do list - gearbox, clutch, rear axle, rev counter, clock display, brakes front and rear, bonnet, service and plently of tlc before any modding happens

when i got the car it was completed standard apart from some vandalism, including C. U. Next Tuesday sprayed on the bonnet, smashed passanger window, broken wing mirrors. since then i have started making the repairs, and got some new wheels from 'mish' and this is how she stands present to this day

a few things i have in mind for the future are;
-lowered 60mm
-phase 2 boot strip
-alloys refurbed in gloss black
-'180' replica exhaust
-spoiler
-decat
-up-rated brakes

any other ideas? also anyone know how to set the wipers in the correct position? i really could do with pics showing me

any comments will help...
