    ----
Finally got around to making a project thread on here, onto my 3rd 206 now and decided on a GTI 180 this time around. Sorry for lack of photos of my progress.

Wheels where badly damaged

Engine bay needs a tidy up

Had it's fair share of issues and problems and ended up running like this for awhile

Spend hours getting paintwork up to scratch and got my vortex alloys powdercoated white

Any opinions ? I'm undecided on both sp archs and morette headlights what do you guys think ?

Loving the colour! And nice clean engine.

What rear lights you got in now? I think I like the ones in the top photo better; as I feel that the red ones are very red against the blue paint and white wheels.

Nice clear car though, what are your next plans?

They are just standard phase 2 lights and I'm looking at maybe fitting brembo 4 pot front brakes but I'm unsure yet

Yeah, I got a 206cc... and the stock brakes on them (for a 2.0) are a bit... inadequate, to put it nicely.

I am going to put on Brembo discs (Max) and pads first, see if that helps with the stopping. Is the conversion to 4-pots straightforward? I'd imagine you'd need to re-do quite a bit to the whole braking system, or not? Looking forward to your experience upgrading the brakes, as I'd might be interested doing it myself as well.

I have heard you can run standard GTI 180 discs and pads and just need to space it anyway I'm sure I'll work it out or someone on here can shed some light haha I'll make sure I make a how to guide when I get round to doing it

Looks great, I feel i may have seen this for sale when a friend was looking for a 206. Is this the one that has done 144000 miles (ish)

Nice little project you got there bud, get yourself on fb and Gti180Owners Club, plenty of friendly people on there and will help you with any issues.

With blue, I would go for masked headlights, morettes don't seem to look to good on blue/red or silver 180's

No this one had 79k on it when i bought it.

I think i'll go for masked headlights and fog lights for now can always change later

Hello Aegean Blue 180 friend Smile

Been always fond of Angel Eyes looks, but heard stories that one shouldn't go for them unless their eyes are good at night vision..
But look at them Cool

Aegean Morettes would probably depend on how you see them Smile Each to their own after all

What's the difference? Sun? Angle? Light? Shadows? Very Happy

Regarding white Vortexes, they really stand out! I wonder if in the first photo above they went for some really light/white silver shade

I've always sided with, that rims like these should be seen as they turn at low speeds (hence painting them black would just defeat the purpose Smile )
