This is my project thread i still have a lot of plans for the car just waiting on funds all the time but will keep you all posted in here Smile At the start the car looked like this (Below) Im going be honest i didn't enjoy digging up these pictures they make me cringe.

Then i went on to colour code my car and get a new exhaust exhaust system these 2 pictures were taken on the trip back from Coventry after seeing Teebag who CC'd the strips.

Then came probably my most exciting modification LOWERING ! I bought some Spax Rsx coilovers and rear shocks which are still on the car now. I took it to Edge Performance in Aldershot and let them work their magic went back to pick it up later that day the front end had been dropped by 60mm-65mm and the back had been taken down 75mm-80mm.

This was taken a few months back you can see the changes that have taken place up till here and in the next picture you will see what difference a few things give to the car ie spoiler.

This is more or less how the car sits today, with a few minor changes. Yesterday i removed the outer door pillars which i think made a massive improvement to the image of the car, as i like to think the less tacky plastic the better i also have a Carbon Fibre bonnet on the car now.

Main Modifications thus far include:

-Custom Exhuast System by Edge Performance.
-Lowered on Coilovers 60mm Front, 80mm Rear.
-Rear 3 Windows Tinted by Edge Performance.
-Colour Coded Bump Strips.
-17"O.Z Gemini Alloys w/ Hancook High Performance Tyres.
-Carbon Fibre Bonnet.
-GTI Spoiler.
-Small ICE Install.
(and others)

[size=18][color=red]CURRENT CHECK LIST !

Incomplete Tasts

- Re-Paint rear bumper trim
- Aero Wipers
- Repair Rear bumper
- Change Rear Lights
- Order Pressed plates
- Badge-less Front

I think the back end needs raising up slightly. ATM it just looks like you've put some weights in the boot

As i said its not to everyones taste but i do agree in many ways especially if people saw my car that didn't have a clue about cars they'd think my suspension was broken and with the bangs and scrapes it sounds like it too. Im contemplating getting ti changed when i get round to getting new alloys.

Looks awesome! I think, masked valeos or some other 'darker' headlight would set that off nicely! - Not a huge fan of the CF Bonnet tbh nor the degree of lowering at the back, but that's all just personal preference =]
