Hi just bought a 1999 Hatchback (2A/C) 1.1 i (60Hp) for my daughter and it has an issue with indicating right, all lights are working ( front, rear and repeater ) but they flash randomly IE they work for a couple of flashes then stop for a few cycles then flash maybe once or twice and then stop again, they also do this on hazards but the N/S work perfectly. Could this be the column switch or something else?
Cheers

Have you tried doing it with the headlights on? I had this issue and it worked when headlights were on. Its a failing comms unit i believe

tried this morning with the headlights on but it didn't make any difference, I removed the column switch but it has a manufacturers date of 2017 so i'm guessing it's unlikely the switch is worn. So back to square one?

so today i took the column switch off and ran wires from the indicator pins on the switch to the female connection on the car .The switch is working perfectly, indicating to the left wired up normal and indicating left on the bulbs when the wires are switched on to the indicate right pins and still having the random flashing turning right when wired normally or switched to opposite. Looking at my newly aquired haynes manual it seems the relay is probably ok as its making a noise(?) when the indicator is activated so any ideas on what to look at next? I dont really want to spend too much on it as its not worth a lot.Cheers

It's the COMM2000 unit. I have the same issue with mine. Just need to get another unit and swap them out. Its a simple job, just make sure you take the battery off
