#1: Many problems - codes identified - please help Author: jojot197, Location: WarringtonPosted: Mon Apr 11, 2011 8:54 am ---- 2002 1.4 3 door 206. Problem started with engine cutting out when slowing to a junction. When I restarted the car the speedo wasn't working, further checks revealed also no reverse light.
Checked fuses - all fine. Tried bridging the switch - still no lights. All earthing points checked all fine. Appears to be no power going to the reverse switch.
Just put a generic OBD2 Can tool on and got the following codes
P0135 - 02 sensor heater circuit malfunction Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0141 - 02 sensor heater circuit malfunction Bank 1 Sensor 2
P0105 - MAP circuit malfunction
P0110 - IAT sensor circuit malfunction
P0500 - Vehicle speed sensor A malfunction
P0200 - Injector circuit open
P0120 - TPS / Pedal position sensor A circuit malfunction
Also a code I cant find in the book P1523?
Anyone got any idea's what all this means? Or how to fix it?

Change the MAP sensor.
Not sure about the rest.

Altho from the rest, i don't think it is, because its just like a snow ball effect
A dodgey map could easily throw up the lambda sensor fault
If you're experencing electrical problems, I'd go with a earthing problem to start off with.

I just thought I would update this post incase it is of anyone else at a future date.
I called an auto electrician out today who agreed with me that it would be rather unusual for so many sensors to fail at the same time therefore we were probably looking at a wiring problem.
As there was power to the fuse but none to the switch he checked the blue wire from the fuse box first, and as he unravelled the covering from around this part of the wiring loom he found there was a break in this blue wire.
Fixed this blue wire and reset the codes that were showing, drove the car around and checked for fault codes - none have reappeared, speedo working and reversing lights now on again.
thanks for the help guys, just relieved that it isn't an expensive replacement part needed and all is now working
