fault p1802

it says its a airbag fault on car
looked online and think it means ,drivers module trigger level 2

just called pug and was told it wouldnt be the right code because it wasnt from pug planet
he also said all diff manufactures of readers have there own codes?
it was off a snap-on

The guys at Peugeot are right. You need to read the owners manual for the code reader.

The Peugeot meaning for that code is - Transmission clutch Interlock safety switch short circuit to Battery

Basically, look behind your clutch pedal at the switch, and check the wires.

i came across that on google, but it didnt sound right, whats that got to do with air bags.
oh i see so ya saying that if i had pug read it it wouldnt say fault p1802 it would be a dif code
