#1: 2000 206 LX Still running after turning off Author: Mistweaver, Location: BarryPosted: Tue Jun 07, 2011 4:03 am ---- A strange thing happened to me yesterday.
I switched the engine off and the car started shaking all over coming from underneath. I opened the bonnet and the fan was still running. It's the weirdest thing.
Does anybody have any ideas about what it might be?

That's exactly what I thought as it did turn off after a couple of minutes. The temp gauge was fine though as I hadn't been driving it that long also the shaking and noise was very strange.

Sounds like there could be something more serious if the car was shaking.
Was it shaking before, as you or after you turned the ignition off?
Was it a violent shake or just or just like a jolt?

Did you have the aircon on?
I know mine produces weird noises and almost "sucks" at my engine power
