Are you using the vauxhall pump or the pug one?

I've had the 106 bracket customised to fit in the corner along with a rubber mount to reduce the vibrations then bolted to the frame.

I ran NO filter for 3years as the rad was in the way so nothing could get in to the intake. BUT sucked hot air in as a downside. It revs well having less belt travel and pulleys to go around but I have a L&B fly wheel any way so revs quite quick any way. Now I've got cold air going into the inlet instead of hot air that can't be bad. I also think the elec conversion has a lot better feel to it than the standard PAS. You can use socks or a big universal sock that goes round the 4 trumpets but for what I wanted I needed the standard pump out.
On the trumpet subject you'll losses some hi end bhp but gain more mid range tourqe witch in my case I'll be able to use better. I'll be taking the 65's to the rollers to see the difference in power curves between the
lengths.

Wait for the correct carpet to arrive.
Fit grp n mounts.
Fit my 180 TB's and higher the rear.
Remap booked for next month.
Then I'll be happy.......for now supose save for the next stage

Or buy an air box like Edward from Jenvey...you'll get a good price if you say I sent you
For the price of doing the mods what I have just done, for a Dailey runner I wouldn't bother. Id just get an air box like edwards, but this is conning off the road next year and doing the rest that I have planned.

You'll need to get a elec pump,donor car for the bracket to be taken from,get a hi presure hose for the connection to the rack and a loom to feed and fuse it all. I also used an aftermarket hi flow motosport fan for the rad
Also if you go the way I have you'll need bonnet pinns as I had all the fan&surround removed for maximum flow but you bonnet has nothing to clip to so that's why I needed pins I don't mind tho as I think they look mint.
