#1: Rattling noise from exhaust and brake light intermittant Author: murkr PostPosted: Sun Aug 11, 2013 5:50 am

Hi all

I am new here, and was referred by a friend who highly recommended this forum.

I have recently purchased a 206 roland garros edition and have noticed a couple of, I hope small things that are not quite right and was hoping to get some advise.

First of all the exhaust seems to rattle every now and then, I noticed it the most when stopping up a steep heel and therefore having to bring the biting point higher, at which point it became quite loud. I read somewhere this is the 4 pipes under the manifold which commonly become loose and need to be welded back together. (Does this sound right? and is it best to get looked at quickly? Will it be costly?)

And the 2nd thing is the brake light flashes during journeys, it doesn't seem to stay on but will flash on and off quite quickly, at times it will be off completely then all of a sudden start flashing again. I am hoping this is just the sensor?

Hope someone can help Crying or Very sad

Thanks in advance
