#1: Door Actuators - Number of Pins Author: Flook, Posted: Thu Mar 27, 2014 7:30 am ---- Hi,
I'm looking at replacing the door actuators on my Peugeot 206 due to the central locking not working from the fob. The doors lock individually from the key but that is it.
My question is, which type of door actuators do I need to buy? I know I can look by removing the door cards etc, but the car is in use so I haven't had time yet.
I've looked on ebay and there a 4 pin, 0 pin and 6 pin! I'd just like to buy a like for like swap.
Thanks,
Flook

Hi Steve206,
When I use the fob the boot does open and lock yes.
When I lock the drivers door with the key - the door locks, boot locks, passenger side does NOT lock. When I unlock the drivers door, boot unlocks.
When I lock the passenger door with the key - the door locks, boots locks, drivers side does NOT lock. When I unlock the passenger door, boot unlocks.
The doors do not react from the key fob, but the hazard lights flash and the boot locks.
The weird thing - the other day the boot stopped working too, so it was always unlocked. But then it started working again the next day.
