PUG 206 1.4 Sport 2005 Idle issues

Hi All
I hope you can help me, I have an issue where the car idles really slow and unless you blip the accelerator it cuts out.
I have seen loads online about this being the ICV and lots of pictures and videos but none match my engine location etc for the ICV.
I have a 2005 1.4 sport on a KFU engine which I believe to be the 1.4 16v.
On mine the ICV appears to be on the bottom of the unit housing the throttle body not the top like most of the posts I can find but also doesn't have the appear to have ability to be removed from the main unit.
Any pointers or enlightenment would be appreciated.

Many thanks

The known weak points on this set up is the electronic throttle pedal & also the fly by wire electrinic throttle body.

When was the last time it visited a Peugeot main dealer?

There was an engine ECU software update for this ET3JP4 engine that cured driveability issues.

Do you have access to Peugeot Planet?

I looked after one of these ( late 2003 build ) that had a massive flat spot when you tried to pull away - 2nd hand replacement throttle body fixed the flat spot then a ECU software update transformed the car.

Hi thanks for the response.

I have had the car for approx 3 years and it hasn't been to a dealer. The last owner didn't have it dealt with by a Peugeot main dealer.
I dont have Peugeot planet but will see if I can lay my hands on a copy and cable.

Many Thnaks
