I had an ambulance reverse into my car when it was parked outside. It had modified rear lights unclaimed at the time, the black sperm ones, the insurance company that repaired it put ultra LED rears, WIN! Razz

I just come on here and was like oh not another crunch and started reading the thread I was like wait that's me LOL...

Dunno why it's come back alive, but my car was fixed, and it was done pretty well. Her insurance rung me the next day or the day after I think it was, and they told me they'd be here to collect it soon and they'd leave me a courtesy car if I needed it, I was alright, didn't need it. They offered me travel money if I needed it, which I didn't. They took the car, it was away from a Sunday to a Friday and it was fine, they'd put a new rear quarter on, sprayed it and it looks perfectimundo, and I'm really picky when it comes to things like that but they did a really good job. Her insurance was really good, can't fault them.

Glad it got sorted Myke. Quite a major repair job then really if the rear quarter was replaced.

I used to hate the picky customers. When they came out with "that door gap isn't the same same as that one" the answer was always, "It's a mass produced car, what do you expect" unless it was a Rolls Royce driver (Rolls owners are all right, Rolls drivers are just plain arrogant) and the answer was "It's a hand built car, what do you expect" Run the car into the workshop, pass it to a fitter and watch them as they stick the jack under the door to level it up. Luckily that place as shut now, but the practice will still go on.

The thing is, when something like that happens it's expected that the car will come back with tiny little things like door gaps not the same, it doesn't really bother me because I've been lucky with my repairs that it's come back almost perfect. They should be glad that the car was able to be repaired to a state of satisfaction! I'm happy with my car Smile
