Buxton 7th 8th 9th August 2009
Toast with epic amounts of beadage!
Katy sorted us out with a load of E number related munchies for the drive... Tammy dropped the bag...
Which was clearly a lolable moment... point and laugh
So armed with walkie talkies, Tams neighbour Naomi, we set off to meet Sean (Hursty11) and Seb at some services on the M1!
On arrival we found Seb in his new wagon, very nice, and very very, low seats!
At this point Seans day was getting day, second by second by millisecond by millisecond... so we had to abandon waiting to keep to part 2 of the convoy and headed up to meet Michelle (MinxyD) and Lisa (Jiggermeister) at Donington services. Arriving 1 minute behind schedule... WIN! Happy days.
At this point we were convinced the grey clouds were bowling up behind us but retreating just out of sight whenever we stopped We then found out Griff was also stuck in traffic so once again carried on our voyage 2 cars down!
Once we got there we started setting up camp, Iain and his girlfriend had already made it, so we cracked on and gradually people turned up. 25 minutes before our taxis where due to arrive, Sean called to tell us he had made it Buxton... but due to a Info fail #cough# Katy #cough# the postcode for the campsite says the same as last years lolz... so I piled over and directed him back!
It was then beer oclock... someone else ahs pics of the night out... so they will be on soon no doubt!
So Saturday morning we were up... just about alive ... not quite sure why we weren’t feeling good but hey ho.  We headed to Morrisons (standard!) for a fry up by some very miserable staff..
And then it was the food (slash random required items as selected) BUDGETED
As per, bar was set up in the boot of my car and we got the tunes pumping!
Katy, Stu (twed) and myself headed off to get our cars cleaned ready for the pics..
And look what we found... (from last years... AJs here... only joking )

Whilst on the food shop, we decided full Health and Safety should be taken on board.

BBQ set up....
Looks good ay.... shortly afterme confirming this would be fine, the trays and boxes caught alight with the burger s on them, gradually it all collapsed whilst flames billowed, managed to save them, i burnt myself in the process and had to drop one bbq cuz the tongs failed, which happened to be on lamb skewers, which then also set light to them and various things around them was pretty damn funny... literally couldn’t have been anymore of a fail... had to be me that caused it

mister b, Buxton is one of the most central locations we were able to find, and there are a few more Scottish members interested in this.
and as it's now february, time is closing in. by the time most people see this, and the forum is back on it's feet, it would have been too late for anything. adz and katy never complained about the drive. it all depends on the roads and traffic. it took me 5 hours to get there in 2007, and it was the most boring drive as I was the only Scottish member to turn up.
if it was further south, it wouldn't be fair to anyone driving from the north or north of the border
