put a 3/8 ratchet with a bar in the hole next to the tensoiner when the belt of almost in the right position and pushe the ratchet and should move enough to slip on.

Do you have an automatic tensioner or a manual tensioner? If you have an automatic tensioner then there will be a square hole to the left of the roller pictured.

there's a good guide, the bottom picture shows the hole if it has an automatic tensioner.

Ah okay sorry ignore all that then, have you tried putting the old on back on again to make sure there isnt a problem with the tensioner?

That is impossible,it's a must, and do as the guys said above, other wise the belt would be lose, and slip out while you drive,it have to be tight to work well.

Firstly do you need two threads for the same problem?

Secondly, if they used your chassis number then there will only be one belt to fit your car.

And I've just emailed you a guide to your msn address
