Got myself a 1999 peugeot 206 1.4 LX.
The central locking doesn't work, this is with both the key fob and manually, I have to look every single door manually including the boot.
Could it be that the fuse has gone, if so what fuse?
If not then any other suggestions, thanks a lot

I emailed a Peugeot dealer and said it could be various problems and it would be like £54 to get a diagnostic test.

Have a look in the 206 talk section and there's a beginners guide to the 206 which lists all the fuses and their location
You can also download the owners handbook which also lists the fuses and their location

I had the same problem with mine and the garage tried charging me for a new bsi unit which was £300. In the end the bsi just need resetting as it sometimes trips out, especially when your fiddling with the battery all the time. The key will only reset though if it flashes red when you press the button anyway, otherwise you'll need a new battery for the key. If I remember correctly the steps to reset it are as follows:
1. Start the car and then turn off the engine
2. Pop the bonnet and put the drivers window down and lock all the doors (from the outside)
3. Wait 3 minutes (the bsi needs time to shut down)
4. Take off the battery terminal and wait for 15-20 seconds, then re-attatch it.
5. Lean through the drivers window and turn on the side lights (DONT OPEN THE DOORS)
6. Put key in and turn the ignition on, but not the engine
7. Hold button on key for 10 seconds.
8. Turn ignition off and try the doors - they should now work
9. Turn the engine on and off so the bsi saves the changes.
This worked for me first time but if it doesn't then try the fuses after as they are then next cheapest to replace. If it doesn't work you haven't lost anything as it won't cost to try it.

I think you're talking about remote central locking not working and doing a remote resynch. Cookieace is saying the doors don't central lock at all and each door has to be locked individually

Central locking: if water gets into the control box, which is located in the footwell, the central locking system is known to fail. Examples produced before spring 1999 are the worst affected by this problem, so check potential buys for water ingress.

I now have one mine is a late 1999, like October/November.
Any ideas as to hoe to fix this problem? I but realised their is a fuse missing for the central locking I'm hoping it's that.

Update: Just put a fuse in and when I go to lock the doors all the locks pop back up, apart from the drivers door which stays down and the passenger door doesn't move at all. But the other two doors and boot are the ones which bounce. When I go to lock the car no locks move apart from the drivers side, any suggestions or ideas people :)?

I expect the previous owner took the fuse out because of the lock problem. Have a look here

So it is just the solenoids? Would that explain why the doors won't unlock only the drivers door will and then when they lock they all bounce but only the passengers side doesn't move? Or is there another problem?

Most likely, now you need to do some investigating.
When the car tries to lock all the doors but then senses one of the doors is now unlocked when it shouldn't be then it unlocks the rest too the same as if someone inside is trying to get out and tries to open the door.
If the passenger side doesn't move then that would be first on my list. Look at the wiring diagram, check if that solenoid is receiving a "close now" signal and earth. If it is and it doesn't do anything then it's dead

And if it's dead? And I replace the solenoid? Will the rest start working?
How do I see if it's recieving a close now?
