Well I've been preping rally cars for about 4 years now and I know a 206 smacking a headge at about 40 mph will twist the subframe

I contacted royal mail and parcelforce and they both said they were fine and this was also via air mail. So yes you can send them fine.

i don't doubt yo expertise Daf..you suggest i take it in? bt ive had peugeot technician friends of mine work on it after the accident and the only thing left to fix is the airbags

I know airfreight will refuse to take airbags / explosives as they also refuse to take any kind of charged pressure vessel.
Some of the forklift parts we use if there not in stock in the UK have to come via road as there banned from being put on an aircraft due to being a charged pressure vessel.
I have sent a airbag in the UK before via Royal Main many years ago.

It's all to do with being Class 1 Dangerous Goods. The rules are set down by IATA. Some dangerous goods can be sent by air transportation but I don't think Class 1 can. They can only be sent as road freight, possibly sea too, but it would all depend on the individual carrier.
Also you would need to check with the individual countries customs clearance. Some of them will not allow certain goods to be imported. You can't even send a SIM card abroad as it may be pre loaded with call time ie money.
The rules are very strange. The DHL drivers have a book thicker than a bible saying what they can and can't accept for transportation to each country.

The 206 body shell is easily bent / twisted if hit in the right places 
They really do need checking by a professional if its been smacked as the damage can appear in other areas of the shell.
Multiplexed 206's need a heavy / hard wack to fire the SRS system.

Honestly at 100km/h (62mph) You will have 90% damaged much more than a wing and 'fender'.. No way can you have things like the headlight and headlight mounting points in one piece...

That actually clears a few things up. I thought there would be something against it but couldn't find anything on the internet. Thought it got sent by airmail but could have been boat thinking about it wasn't sure. I made the person aware that it was an airbag after enquiring about it and they were more than happy to pick it up and deliver up.
*shrugs a bit*
