-> 206 Problems

Noticed the front edge of my bonnet has gone quite rusty, bought from ebay stating already primed, previous original factory bonnet never went rusty on the front edge, a bit concerned of getting new bonnet in case the same thing happens again, common problem?

I had the same problem with a non genuine bonnet a couple of years back i was never sure weather it was a s**te paint job i had done or because it was a non genuine part.

could be common, my tailgate has a couple specs of rust under the boot strip, and a small one under the glass. irritating as it's another part to add to my list of bits to respray.

think peugeot just use liquid thin paint?

The bonnet on the 206 i just got is rusted to hell on the underside - the outside is fine though, its hard to believe the underneath is so bad and flaky when you see it from the outside... Must replace it soon but will be buying from a scrapyard then can see it first... Quite liking the idea of a carbon bonnet but fail to see OH going along with that haha
