im looking to get my clutch on the 206 2.0hdi90 replaced, how much is the usual rate for a clutch change if i supply the clutch?

i just had it mapped... and clutch slips "a bit"

i bought before a organic clutch from technicluth for my c5 also mapped and was fine... but i also heard bad reviews on them... would a oem valeo good? is currently on a stage1 125 map...

I would advise you to ring local garages to get a price. They all charge different rates and you may find some will charge a little bit more if you supply the clutch. It might even be worth checking on here if anyone offers that service close to you. Save some that way.

Indeed i had mine replaced not long ago and was charged 4 hours and from asking around thats about right it would seem.

Reccommend getting a Garage to do this job as I recently undertook this job on my DW8 engine and it's not for the faint hearted. Clutch took all of 10 minutes to align and get in but getting the gearbox off is another story ! 4 hours turned into about 10 for me without any prior knowledge. £150 well spent imho.

I paid £160 labour but next time I'll do it myself.

im getting it changed this weekend... i was quoted £100 for a LUK clutch kit and £120-130 labour... sounds about right, thanks Smile
