It's either SORN or wrote off.
As it's MOT'd, just not taxed or insured

Ours was taxed and SORN'd at the same time though a couple of months back. It was only a month on £35 a year, so we didn't bother getting a refund. DVLA didn't say anything!
If it isn't insured and not SORN'd, owner will be getting a letter and fine pretty soon!!
