Remove door pins

Hi

I have a pair of irmscher door pins which I had kept when I had an astra coupe. The paperwork said it will fit vauxhall's and peugeot's.

How do I remove the door pin that's shows the door is locked or unlocked.

On the astra it was a matter of popping off a red covers and the pin would come off? Do I need to remove the door card on the 206?

Thanks

IIRC, the pins on the 206 are moulded onto the steel rod that goes to the lock mechanism. Depending on the length of your new pins you might be able to simply cut the steel rod just below the existing pin. If not, you'll have to remove the plastics of the pin from the rod... Wire cutting pliers, dremel, etc For either I think you'll need to remove the cards for proper access.

Unless someone knows some trick for the pins?
