Right I'm hoping that someone has the answer to my questions, I bought a 206cc for my girlfriend, but whilst doing it up, I've ended up making it a little too quick for her to drive especially as she has just past her test. So I've kinda claimed it for myself.

So to cut a very long story short, I've decided to turbo it, engine is coming out, battery is being moved to boot etc etc, my main problem so far, is tracing a turbo exhaust manifold that will fit. Now I've already priced it at a one of bespoke manufacturer but at £1,500 he's got no chance. There must be a manifold that fits the car, that's either off another Peugeot or another car with the same fitment. I'm hoping that with all the knowledge inside the group, that someone will have the answer.

By the way, brakes are updated slotted and drilled with brembo callipers with mintex pads, Fuel pump,filter and shortly injectors are upgraded. It's running a sportex straight through exhaust with sport cat, intercooler has been placed, as is all the pipework (all at 76mm) including forced induction. Also has Oil catch tank, water header expansion tank, coilovers done and everything from drop links to driveshafts, CV Boots, basically everything has been renewed to do with the suspension etc.

All I'm left to source is the manifold and the ecu, the turbo is a low compression A/R .50 so nice and small so it's all at the bottom and middle end, all it will be running is a max of 10-12psi. So my friends apart from telling me that the engine will explode (doesn't matter as am trying to source a decent mi16 to break down and rebuild) can anyone help me? There must be a simple solution out there, even if I have to do some welding to modify the position, there has to be a straight fit out there.

Any help at all or ideas to help me with this self build, including constructive criticism if I'm going wrong in places, as ideally it should have forged pistons etc and cams, but saving that for the 406 engine when i source a decent one.

Yeah fortunes and once again, just wasn't sure if there was another pug that the same fitment, basically I'm trying not to have to spend over £500 quid for it.

If you're on a tight budget then don't even start.

Why would you use a 406 mi16? Thats old technology, the ew that in your cc is by far better.

You should allocate about 3 to 4k to turbo your cc, especially being a EW engine. I also recommend you do more research as the A/R has nothing to do with compression nor does it actually give any sort of sizing relevance
