#1: erratic Idling Author: hamed206, Location: EgyptPosted: Mon Jan 10, 2011 5:27 pm ---- Hello all, my car has been suffering from erratic idling which is very noticeable at the morning and quite noticeable when the car reach the normal temperature 80-90degC.
This problem is a chronic one and my car has been suffering from it 2 years later!!, it's not the stepper motor, not the IAT sensor, not the MAP sensor, not the Oxygen sensor and not the spark plugs!!, what could this problem be????

Some 206s were fitted with dodgy sagem coils that send surges of electricity to the ecu damaging the electrodes or something, a valeo coil pack might solve the problem. If not then try the throttle sensor. (Although they are pricey new!)

My coilpack is Bogicord not Sagem.
Regarding the TBS, I tried before a used one and the same problem exist.
