Hi guys hope someone can enlighten me, just got my seats out to give em a good vax before the winter sets in and noticed that there are two connections under the seat, i persume for the airbag, Its an 04 2.0 xsi Hdi the one green connector is ok but the other white connector with a pink wire has at sometime been caught in the seat runner and shredded, Any idea what the pink wires for ?
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

What He Said

Correct, the 2 pin white plug is for the seatbelt buckle sensor.

I take it the seatbelt warning light isnt working correctly at the moment then? Laughing

Red seatbelt warning light should be on all the time the engine is running until the driver puts the seatbelt on.

No seatbelt warning audable or visual not on, it used to work when driving round car parks etc no seat belt gets louder and louder till you give up and put it on but spliced the cables with good flex and solidered joints and shrink wrapped all working A1,
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction guys really appiciate your speedy help

Cars all vax'd and sparkling now although the seats aint 100% dry yet but havnt gotta go out tonight, i'll leave the doors open on it tommorrow and give em time to dry totally and air the car through too while i sort out a few things on her throughout the day
