#1: Vibration from gear box Author: Thinkyourboss, Posted: Thu Mar 14, 2013 7:25 pm ---- I have a 2002 peugeot 206 1.4 petrol , manual, when accelerating there is a on off pulsing vibration "1 second intervals" this only happens when accelerating and maintaining the same speed, the vibration can be felt through the pedals and slightly through the steering wheel, this happens in every gear apart from 1st and feels like its coming from the gearbox.
The pulsing vibration seems to be worse as certain revs, it is predominately there around 2500 revs, any ideas?

It seems quite aggressive when i am going about 50mph, once i am going over 50 its just a slight vibration/humming, i was thinking it was the transmission as its coming from there, i will have a look at the mounts
