Hi

Please could someone help, on start up for the few 5 mins or so, when you rev the engine it goes to cut out and feels like no power. Once driving about it the car is fine.

The good old antipollution fault sometimes comes on.

Code on the reader is always p0341, at the weekend for the 1st time in traffic, the car would not rev at all, turned engine off/on and everything was fine.

Codes showing were 1160/1161.

I've tried a spare new throttle body but the car is even worse with the new one.

Any idea's what it could be ?

I've also tried replacing various part, camshaft sensor/coilpack/ plugs etc.

Thanks

P0341 is the cam position sensor. I had this problem last year when I bought my used 206 GTI.

I had first tried replacing the cam position sensor but it didn't solve the problem. I took it to a garage for them to sort out. The said the timing was out by half a tooth so possible that the place that did it before I bought the car messed it up. P0341 would not make an fault light come on but where I live, it is enough to not pass the annual inspection.
