sorry to bring up an old subject , but i went in to peugeot today after work to find out how much it would cost for a ecu and bsi software update - £150 , will i see any diffrence in the running of the car , mpg , acceleration etc , also will it clear the memory from were its had a ecu reset many time? ill only be getting this done as its first step to try and fix the intermitent idle problem i have

Running performance will normally be better.
No it won't clear the service data

150£ for just ecu and bsi update. There is free in here (Turkey). Or maximum 25 euro.
