What year is the car? You've got me conscious now! But yeah as above they're £100 or so each from the dealer.

Everytime you jack the car up it leaves a mark on the sill so I just rub it down and give it a spot of touch up paint and lacquer

Id like to know how old this car is, anything newer then it would make me nervous Laughing

Even though im very confident of Peugeot's rust proofing of the 206 I still gave mine the Dinitrol treatment Cool

Waxoil is advertised everywhere to sell, Dinitrol doesnt need to advertise Cool

Just go to a local motor factors. Panels will be half the price of the dealers. The big cost will be in the fitting and finishing unless you can do it yourself.

Unless you want the car to rot out again I would advise fit GENUINE Peugeot panels Wink

we've never seen a 206 with rust on the sill at work and we live buy the sea and in the country so cars round here get a bit of a battering :S would say that could be badly repaired accident damage in the past is it both sides or just one??

Lol its a X plate car so 2000 reg and yeah i first thought accident damage but got details for previous owners and it hasnt been in any i just think the car has been badly treated Hense why its now a project car for me.
I didnt realise u can buy sills for the Normal 206 only thought you could get them for the 206cc ???
and its on both sills not just the one witch again doesnt indicate to been in a accident.
even tho i hate french cars i truley believe this one needs to be put back on the road and i may even keep it when repaired and get rid of my Vauxhall astra ! and thats saying something as i love my car lol.
Anyone know of any places to get sills from Around lincolnshire other than main dealers or should i say main stealers...... and know of any decent welder to attach the new sills. i may be good under the bonnet but when it comes to welding thats a true art form..

had a 206 in at work with a 'sloshing' sound from the passenger side turns out the sill drain holes were gunked up and the sill was half full of water Surprised

Nah its both sills at the front jacking point and at the rear jacking points..... the more i work on the car the more problems that keep arising lol was only firing on 3 cylinders but now sorted that with some bosch super spark plugs but now after taking car 4 a quick test ( On a private road ) all i can hear is knocking from the Front driversside suspension on inspection found that the Drop link bar seals are abliterated so if i change the drop links HOPEFULLY the knocking will stop. So can u buy sills for the normal 206 or is it only the cc ? and any other thoughts on the Knocking other than drop link arm ?

You can get them from most places that supply body panels.

Main dealer ones will be genuine, resist rust much better in the future & will fit first time Wink
