Chaps,

Had a hummmm coming from the rear of my car for ages now (probably over 10k miles) and its starting to do my nut!

It starts at around 30mph, stops around 45mph.

Don't think its a wheel bearing, had all 4 checked by a garage and he found zero play.
Also just passed its MOT with no advisories.

Any ideas what and where to look and how to test?

I'm 70% sure its from the drivers side rear - everyone in the car says its coming from somewhere else.. Had the wheel off but couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, but then I don't really know what I'm looking for.

I've got no vibrations, steering feels tight etc. I'm at a loss as to what it is!

Going to change the wheels round this weekend to see if that solves it, could be tyres I guess?

Other possibility could be the brakes binding? But I'd expect the pads to wear excessively!

Cheers for any ideas!
