Hey Fella's
I need to replace this air line on the top of the engine with the yellow clip as it's become brittle and now cracked. Here is a pic of what I mean:

Does anyone know the name of it or a part number? Where is the best place to get one?

I've been through ServiceBox and can't find it!
I'd guess a Peugeot dealer is you only option ...

It makes it easier finding a part on servicebox when you know which engine you're looking for.

I'd cut the pipe off the connectors and get some cheap silicon hose from Ebay. Bound to be cheaper than the Peugeot dealer.

It does, it also helps to known how the warped minds of Peugeot work when trying to trace it.

I guess I'm a bit more trusting ... a quick look at NiGHTS posts suggested it was a GTi engine and as we have that in our CC and the same pipe is causing me problems (it's snapped), I thought is was worth a try .. and no, it's not hard when you know or have done it a few times  Although that one is causing me grief when trying to create an image link ..

£27 from peugeot new . Or go scrappys .
I used silicon hose to replace mine .

I tried normal rubber hose on ours to join the break. That lasted about 9 months then one day I found it on lying on the thermostat housing. It had simply gone soft, stretched and just fallen off!
Got silicon on now and need to check that at some stage.
I may just get a new pipe in the new year ... I need to get some new engine cover turn-clips too

How did you guys connect a silicon hose to the ends? I can't see how it could be done...got any pics?
I'll probably just give Peugeot a call and ask for the part. Hopefully they know what Im talking about.

Ours snapped about halfway along the thicker pipe, so I rammed the broken ends into the silicon hose as far as I could and it felt tight. I will check next time the car is in my possession as it's my daughter's daily and I only get to see it occasionally .. normally just following a telephone call that starts "Daddy .... " ....

She would just love that for Christmas ... Besides, I still have a black mark for buying her new tyres for a birthday ...
I will, just can't be arsed to got to my Pug dealer where's there is no where to park close by and I'd be mingling with the hoards doing their Christmas shopping nearby ...

As I said, easiest way of fixing it permanently is to get some silicone hose from Ebay! Will cost £5 at most!
