Another one of my friends who owns a 206 (and hasnt driven it into the 206 magnet yet) cant work out what litre her engine is. she says its a 1.1 and drives like one but the insurance and mycarcheck say its a 1.4! how could we find out what engine it really is, because they dont have any badges or anything on there?

check to see if the engine number on the engine is the same as the logbook. its under the manifold

Mine came up as a 1.4 when I tried to insure it, but it's definitely a 2.0

Check the 6th, 7th and 8th letter of the VIN
KFW - 1.4 8v EEC 95 depoll engine
KFX - 1.4 8v EEC 2000 depoll engine
KFU - 1.4 16v

Open the bonnet & check the engine number

What do you fill it up with? Hamster Food or Petrol?

hamster food if its a 1.4 and rocket fuel if its a 1.1
