when i set of in first gear my car makes a loud clunking noise from the drivers side on the front only makes one clunk

I think I am getting the same as you. But now it clunks when coming to a stop or sometimes when going over a bump with the brakes on. Its got louder too. Both my droplinks and wishbones are new so its ether one or both drive-shafts or the top mounts. Possibly an engine mount.

check for any play on your wishbones... droplinks.. when my driveshaft was wore out it clattered when pulling away from a stand still.

i got this when changing through gears turned out to be the bottom engine mount got a mechanic to take a look he got me to bounce the clutch pedel in 1st and he could tell by how much the engine rocked
