Hi, I have a jingling sound coming from my front OS front wheel sometimes when going over uneven ground etc. It kind of sounds like someone 'jingling change in their pocket' Very Happy
Any ideas.

PS. I have checked my pockets but they are empty Smile

Have you run over a cat and it's bell has caught around the suspension?

Could be a number of things. Brake pads loose in the caliper, worn suspension bushes/ball joints

It's probably the lock washer on the ball joint. If the tab gets separted from were it seats the washer is loose and jingles on uneven surfaces as you described.

I had the same problem. A new set of pads does NOT cure it, you need the fixing kit. There are a set of retaining clips which hold the pads firmly in place. £20ish from peugeot or £9.99 on ebay. Theyre listed for the 306/205

A decent set of pads should come with the springs, it's just a lot of people are too lazy to fit them or don't understand how they clip onto the pad.

This is what the clips look like

Ahh my mistake, I was thinking of my rear pads! Yes retaining clips should definitely be with the new FRONT pads
