Remove the hub from the ball joint as said. My top tip is to undo the middle bottom arm bolt too. This gives you the movement needed especially when putting the pin back in the hub. Then when the hub is back on the arm push it all in and wiggle a punch or similar to align the middle hole up to push the bolt back through.

should make removing/fitting the shocks alot easier. Also you can buy a bar like a fork. Great for

Not if used right. I've never split one I shouldn't of yet. The rubber pulls down easily. Just be carful to place the fork above it. Use a screwdriver to pry it down if you have too.

Edward I take it that's with the top mount bolts still attached? Couldn't think how it could pressure it up otherwise
