hi

got a 206 gti 2000 and seems to drive fine when at speed, but when i slow down 0-30mph speed ranges i get the car 'wobbling' back and fourth and a wierd knocking noise from underneath somewhere i also get some wierd clunking of metal at low speeds like the same noise u get when u ride a bicycle over a kerb and the metal parts 'prang'. I reckon its either Exhaust knocking/suspensions fluffed/engine misfiring at low speed causing the car to rock/Worn engine mounts.

Anyone got an old Gti with similar issues out of curiosity ?

Well any gear really mainy 1st, 2nd though 3rd also to some degree seems to be more speed related than anything.
