If (in a dream world when it's not all rusty) you unbolted the torsion bar removed the off centered washer, leaving the rest of the beam assembled would the torsion bar slide through the radius arm without removing the radius arm ?

Or is the best way to move the torsion bar to remove the hole radius arm then hammer/slide hammer the bar out ?

Thanks

Replacing bearings. Just thinking of the best way to assemble it to the correct high once I've put.my "dummy" shocks in.

Managed to get the axle apart, had it so hot there are pools of metal in some areas.

And after dismantling the axle i fully understand how it all works. Thus answering my initial question.
