I have zero clue how fragile/delicate car paint it, I would like to re-paint the many annoying odd scratches I have around left, right and centre, should I give this a ago despite having no experience what so ever? I don't want to make it worse of course so if it is hard job I think I will leave it..
can someone offer step by step / advice on this please and what I will be needing? Apart from the actual spray paint which I already have
Thank you!

well re-painting your car is not a DIY job,it need prof. ppl to do it,so I don't think it will be a good idea to do yourself, take it for a bodyshop, and get a quote, because If you try to do it yourself, any small mistake will cost you alot.

Take it to a body shop, or buy some scrap parts to practice on first.

Go to B&Q, buy a tin of paint & a brush. Job done
Costs of getting a car repainted can be high. It helps a lot if you do the prep work yourself and know someone in the trade.
Prices vary from £500 - £2500 for a full respray.
